The Arthur of the Comics Project, sponsored by the Alliance for the Promotion of Research on the Matter of Britain, is an ongoing effort to compile a comprehensive listing of the representations of the Matter of Britain in the comics medium. The corpus is international in scope and extends as far back as (at least) the 1920s. We welcome your help in achieving our goal, and we also appreciate news on other medieval-themed comics.

Medieval
Co-authored with Alex Cormack, Edited by Sarah Litt. Released via Comixology Originals
For Mature Readers
A New York baseball fan in King Arthur’s Court. The Arthurian Cycle is demolished by a time-lost, bat-wielding Jewish plumber trying to find his way back to present-day NYC. Beer, baseball, Bronx, Britain.
After being hit by a line drive, baseball fan Danny Landau wakes up in sixth-century England, out of time with no skills other than a knack for construction and a penchant for violence. After spending a year drinking and fighting, seeking a way back to his girl and New York, Danny’s unique form of loud-mouthed chivalry—and “The Babe,” his custom-designed iron bat—gains the attention of Arthur’s Knights of the Round Table, bringing him helm-to-boot with Arthur, Lancelot, and Merlin, the notoriously wily magician who may just have Danny’s ticket home.
The Vulgate Lancelot takes a vulgar turn as Arthur of Camelot and Danny from the Bronx—a beer-swilling, bat-wielding Jewish knight—vie for the same girl in this violent, mature, original comic about an irreverent, would-be, time-lost hero ready to go fu[CENSORED]ng medieval in order to find his girl…and a way back home.
Loud, brash, boisterous and over the top, with this violent, mature original comic Kleid takes a swing at something very different and out of his wheelhouse and hits a home run with Medieval, his most brutal, bloody, and vulgar – yet still emotionally grounded—comic series to date.

For fans of Critical Role and the original King Arthur and the Knights of Justice cartoon, this sequel finds the fantasy world of Camelot entering our own real world. A tale of leadership, forgiveness, swords, and sorcery, this tale asks how you can forgive your friends even when they’ve deeply harmed you.
Arthur King and his knights are back in the sequel to King Arthur and the Knights of Justice. We find Arthur King and the Knights in school, having moved on from the drama of their recent kidnapping in Camelot. But when Gallop gets a new girlfriend and Morgana breaks free in Camelot, Arthur and his teammates find themselves having to become knights once more in order to defend their home world–and Camelot–from the threat of evil magic.
